In just over 2weeks I'm off to whistle for a week and I need a suitcase the ones I have are a little aged and weight a fair bit empty

Im looking for something with wheels, light and can take abuse from baggage handlers. I'm thinking of putting my helmet in there if i cant take it as hand luggage! so what have you got and what would you recommend?

Thanks in advance

Now I've eaten and am not in a be an ahole mood I'll help.

I have an animal bag that splits along the middle and holds more than you could need in 2 weeks of riding.

I got a Dakine Split Roller - which as it's title suggests - splits and rolls!
It has wheels and holds a decent amount of stuff - but you can unclip it into 2 bags should you want to check 2 bags separately. Its pretty good and is very rugged.

If you want something light with wheels... I got a couple of these as wedding presents.

By far the lightest case you'll ever find, and the 4 wheels make it easier to wheel infront of you when you have a 160cm wheeled board bag behind you!!

+1 for Dakine.

Had a Split Roller Large (not the Convertible that seperates into two pieces) for over 5 years and it's still going strong. Prices have gone up recently, but you can still get one for £100ish if you shop around.

Any bag that can unzip and slide under a hotel/chalet bed is recommended.

I'd second an animal bag I've got a 120l one similar to the old Dakine one an it's been great, 3 internal sections, 2 large, 1 small waterproof, a large expandable waterproof one outside and a few other outside pockets. Tonnes of room, wheels etc and has done me the last 4 or 5 years. Definitely £90 well spent!!!
