| Its different when your watching a video of yourself lazily skidding a turn on the back foot rather than engaging an edge properly. The ones that include night out footage are the worst though. |

I do like it when it involves slow rotations and XL booters, or a camera wearer following another rider through the park.
Other than that most helmet cam footage does suck...doesnt stop me wanting one though. |

| im supposidly getting one for christmas and looking forward to a bit of fun with it. However im agreeing with most people that its probably best not to just film runs from helmet mounting. I think my plan is to bolt it to my helmet and use it to chase other people |

| Is it the fact it's POV or the fact there's no subject in the shot? If there's no subject in shot, any video or photo is as boring as sin as you never know what you are supposed to be looking at, this is just multiplied when on snow as everything is uniform and white, so there's even less subject matter! I'm all for helmet cams if they are shooting something! |

| If it's for POV then it needs to be on a pole, no question. If you're filming others, then the helmet shots can look okay, but mix them up, get creative. I had my GoPro on pretty much everything to see how the shots came out, including the back of my binding! |

Just a regular SanDisk 16gb one and two Kingston cards for me, though I also use them for my SLR/point and shoot as well.
You don't need to break the bank on extreme performance cards. |
