I was with Easyjet last year and looked into their bag policy, it basically says you can take a set of skis/snowboard with you and its vague around what it should be, but they are relaxed about it, their main concern when checking in is weight! Last year I used the scales at an empty checkin desk and took a load of stuff out of my snowboard bag (which had 2 boards, spare bindings and most of my clothes) and kept them to one side, then checked in, weighed my bag and took it over to oversize luggage and stuffed a load of stuff back in my board bag (they are not connected to easyjet at the oversize luggage so dont care what it weighs (as long as it isnt over the 45kg or whatever their union regs dont let them pickup)....
~ to sum up, as long as you pay for an extra bag & ski/board equipment you can go up to 32kg accross your snowboard and suitcase without any probs! |

Yay! Another thread on this subject. I've just been chased off the other one by the big boys.
Right, where do I start.... |
