Apologies if this has been covered in a previous thread.....
I am flying to geneva by easyjet on wednesday and wondering if im reading into their baggage allowance wrongly??
I have packed a snowboard bag with my 2 boards, clothes, boots and all my gear. it weighs 27 kilos. I have booked one piece of luggage and winter sports equipment.
I have just been told that i might have to pack my clothes and board separately in 2 different bags?
Is this the case or will i be ok with just the one bag?
Dont want to turn up at the airport and them tell me that i cant fly or have to pay lots of extra lift pass money?
Thanks |

Yep, as long as your bag doesnt weigh more than 32kg. Stuff everything you can into it. |

i understand your concern as it is super ambiguous on the easyjet site.
I have just a few weeks ago invested in a big wheelie bag so i don't have to check in a luggage bag and boardbag separately... |

When travelling with Sports equipment with easyjet, i actually rung them up and got them to confirm that when travelling with one piece of sports equipment and no other hold luggage you can fill it with equipment up to the designated weight allowance.. So you'll be fine...
Incidentally i was traveling with a kayak to Morocco and stuffed it full of camping equipment.. Might have been slightly overweight but all was good |

Earlier this year we went on my stag doo - which was to La Manga to play golf.
Easyjet from Glasgow - complete with golf clubs.
They actually weighed our bags and then golf bags and totaled it all up. I was struggling with the allowance, so I had a heap of stuff in my rucksack - which must've weighed about 8kg with balls and shoes!!
When they told us to take our golf bags to the oversize baggage counter, I dumped all the stuff from my rucksack into my golf bag!
Anyway....
My last few boarding trips I've just filled a High Roller (and a Low Roller this year) with all my equipment, then taken a small case with normal clothes. Never had any complaints... but then I've always had less than about 25kg between them. |

Like the others, I have been with EasyJet a bunch of times with all my stuff in my board bag and then just a carry on. Never been a problem.

Mate that is nothing! Flying back with my gf from Lithuenia a few years ago with Ryan Air we we pretty far over, cos her mum had given her loads of stuff to bring back. They wanted to charge us £100 or something to bring it! Had to get her uncle to come back to the airport and take some of the stuff back with him. Oh my god the tears.... Will never fly with them again, they were f*ckin sh*te. |
