I'm 10 stone with size 11 feet, ride freestyle at domes and go away for 1-2 weeks a year. Last few seasons i've been riding a 152 K2 world wide weapon, it never lets me down indoors but isn't great for getting the most out of a holiday...tends to wash out in icy conditions super easy...makes me look a bit of a moron and makes hooning it a little bit of a hairy experience.
Will be looking to move onto another primary board soon and thought i'd tap into peoples opinions on here.
My criteria-
-Freestyle true twin, will be used for jibbing on the mountain/rails etc, hardly any off-piste. Not really into kickers.
-Not as noodly as the WWW but still enough flex to butter about on,basically want it to be *just* stiff enough for piste riding, without taking the fun out of it.
-Solid construction, non of this delaminating after a week of use business.
-Probably stay with 152 if stiffer, but would consider 154 for all mountain friendlyness.
-Not Burton
Any ideas? Cheers |

anything slightly stiffer than the WWW should be ok, i'm quite a light guy.
I have the 09/10 WWW atm and it has a full rocker (not flat between the bindings like a lot of this seasons boards) so although very fun to jib the actual ride could be better.
I think I'd like to stick to a bit of rocker though, its a great bit of freestyle tech in my opinion... |

Nitro T1 Flatline is the best board of the kind you have described that i've ridden for years. I rode about 20 boards at this years board test in Austria and it was my favorite by far. It rocks on the piste and hold the edge really well but its soft enough to use as an out and out freestyle board. I had a choice of any of their boards this season, including those much more expensive, but chose the T1 hands down. Cant recommend it enough.
Just to balance things out the other similar board i also loved was the Signal Park flatline. Its used to be proper park board but so many people bought it as their only board for piste riding that this seasons they have stiffened it up and made it a true all mountain. M second favorite board at the board test.
Oh know Charlie loved both boards when we tested them as well. |

| Yeah I thought the Honeypot was a good board, some crazy tech in that one. Rome Reverb Rocker was a brilliant board, very fun and should do what you want. |

I would try the Endeavor Color, its supposed to be a specfic park board, but I just spent the week testing it in tignes and it held up on all piste conditions with ease. I enjoyed it that much i bought one and the graphics are sweet too.

| The colour has always been a pretty good all round board but it is kinda soft. Thing is hard or soft is all relative, some people think a certain board is too soft when others think its really stiff, it all depends what you're comparing it too. If all you have ridden is a WWW then anything else will seem stiff, even something thats still on the sofa side of the scale. I would say the Color is stiffer than the WWW but not a huge amount. |
