My father in law trains search dogs, will train for anything however specialising in cadaver dogs, and I've worked with him a few times. We where in in Northern Island searching for Peter Wilson who was one of the 'disappeared' and went missing in 1979 and the dog found him before anyone else even turned up. we didn't know this at the time however so we just tagged the 'hit' and carried on however when the diggers turned up a week later we directed them there and found his remains. here is a link,

best animals in the world. wouldnt trade mine for a million bucks. luvs ma dugs Very Happy

one o mine is well smart, carrys stuff for me, gets the post from the letterbox, knows all sorts of tricks like opening doors n gettin me socks out the drawer n bringing trainers.

one of my neighbours dogs is so cool you put its lead on to take it a walk and it carrys the lead handle in its mouth lol.
we wer laughin about it walkin itself ages ago, to prove a point he puts it on the lead gives it the handle and tells it to go a walk... toddled off down the street and showed up five min later after walking himself round the scheme... was amazing. just went its usual route round the block and back.
