Snowboarding was something I kinda stumbled upon after a mate asked if i fancied going on snowboarding holiday. after a week of falling on my bum I finally managed to actually look up from my feet and saw the awesome scenery. It also a good way to just chill out from the rest of the crazy world.
Ive also met some really cool people through boarding and generally I like the people who move in the snowboarding world, they pretty much accept anyone as long as you love what you do. Being a girl I find the chicks who also snowboard arnt total pre -madonnas and are up for a laugh with the lads..... there is also less bitchyness. |

.... i met a girl who could ski and i wanted to go on holiday with her. so i learnt to snowboard because i could skateboard when i was younger.
but now i think i do it for the stress relief. nothing beats sitting at the top of a run looking at the scenery then once you are relaxed enough you follow that with an adrenalin rush |

I hate going on holiday and sitting on my arse. It turns out I'm not bad at snowboarding. Win.
Plus it makes me look cool. |

| Because It provided me with challenges every day life didn't I it's the best way to relax because even if you don't share opinions (or the same language) you can always find a friend when a board is involved because its. just. awesome. |

| Because I was fed up of being defined by my job and realised I hadn't had a hobby for a few years and snowboarding seemed as good as any (not entirely true, My girlfriends dad had a lesson that I gatecrashed and was hooked from there!) |
