| any online review videos are completely misleading anyway because it depends how well it was encoded by the editing programe and what setting the editor had the software set to. You can have the best footage in the world but if render out the final movie at the wrong setting its not going to look great. means its kind of pointless basing a review on anything put online. |

Any idea what settings they use for the offical GoPro videos? They look pretty crisp even in 360p.

Amazed he got it back!
Here's another interesting vid. It's all wing suit base jumping but skip through to 5.00 where you'll see why the Drift's velcro mounts are favoured by many base jumpers. Also how tough they are.

I would suspect that they are most definitely using 1080p .. I can't talk for them with regards the format that they use, for me I prefer filming in 720p 60fps - I take the mp4 format file and import it into cyberlink powerdirector, do my editing etc and create the output as mp4 .. then upload to youtube.
It is then available in all levels including oddily enough 1080p. |
