This is JF Pelchats binding company - he came up with an idea similar to Burtons Channel a while back, and I believe the concept behind the bindings are that you can adjust the position on the board easily, and they have some weird design that gives them a lot more feel.
Not much info on them apart from the vids |

| im thinking a sort of rubber-bushing system, similar to that of a skate truck to give you more movement/control and dampening? |

Was not impressed with the first video, then I saw DCP, now I want them despite knowing nothing about them.
Good advertising. |

If anyone is wondering about Switchback bindings, apparently they are a branch of Bataleon, so expect them to have some TBT (triple binder tech? haha) sh1t on them!
Apparently they have removable highbacks. Sounds interesting... |

bit more info on both appeared on mr angrys site today.
My first impression is that the switchback bindings look crap and the now bindings proabably ride like crap! |

| i do believe T rice has bought half of this company now as well. Its funny , cos if some student/engineering type had come up with this "innovation" then it would get laughed off the hill. But cos of the weight behind it it seems credible, Id imagine its great in perfect conditions but on anything icy/ long cat tracks etc it will be a bit unresponsive. I was kind of hoping it would be a bit of lateral pivot instead as i really liek the idea of being able to twist particularly my back foot from side to side a bit, Kind of like 30 degrees of spring centred stance angle adjustment so you could dig in and get a really nice pop off your back toe. I hate being welded into place on my board. |
