Anyone used these tutorial vids? Any good?

Looking to progress my freestyle as I've plateau'd a bit, learn counter rotations on/off rails, and get some visuals for side on,kinked rails...

Been watching some clips and the full FS boardslide tutorial on youtube and i'm pretty impressed.

They are American but do digital downloads.

sign up to their email list and occasionally get sent discount codes. if you wait long enough you sometimes get 30-50% off discounts which help out Wink

I got them a while ago, v good with pretty clear instruction, would certainly recommend. The only frustration is the lack of viewing order - almost dvd 1 then the first bit of dvd 3 then back to 1 and back to 3 then 2 and then 4... Can understand it happens as they've released dvds as they've filmed them (and re-filmed some basics at a later date which then appear on a later dvd).

Maverix sell them here (or at least list them on their webby) - might be worth comparing prices with them and the US site (and both give SCUK discounts).

Hi sktr4lf,

i got them too on the digital download and yes a Dereks mentioned you do need to keep an eye out for the running order otherwise you end up trying to do the advanced stuff first (unless thats what your after) Razz

I really rate them as the volume of detail is brilliant and really really clear. (diagrams and everything!) I reckon they're worth the cash.

If you're unsure of splashing the cash just yet then maybe get your mates/other riders at Hemel to give you suggestions on your riding too? I've found that really helps to ask. If you see someone doing amazing tricks, ask them how Razz

Thanks guys, all useful stuff. Will check out maverix and sign up to the SA mailing list.

Mostly after the jib and rail stuff, so i can study setup and body position, then go through it in my mind/with board in living room.

I struggle a bit with the mates riding side, since I moved to herts i don't have riding buddies anymore so tend to fly solo at hemel... Have spoken to a few people up there but the central freestyle clique is proving a bit of a nut to crack (Also found this at Tam when i used to ride there on sat nights).

Yeah true - the films are shot on, and heavily sponsored by Whistler Blackcombe where he now lives tho.
