The fly paper of glencoe is missing from this list. Shocking. I've not done any of these. Must try harder.

The harakiri is only really steep on one section. The black on the opposite side of the valley was harder going. Very choppy with a weird camber and a lot longer but awesome fun.

There's a mofo double black diamond at Crested Butte in the US - regularly home of the WinterX games - that had me alone, concerned and pleading to the Lord at one point...

Think the run from Mooserwirt down to the bottom in St Anton any time between 4pm and 8pm should be on there. Know of somebody that ended up in an ambulance after being hit on the head by a stray board...

Not a bad list tbh the ones i have rode are :

Delerium Dive is one of the best runs (bowl) on its day i have ever ridden, your pretty puckered at the top for sure, but the snow is real good there, and there are easier lines through it if you know what your doing.

The Tunnel has been super nerfed recently, it used to have a much steeper drop off and no cat track around the step decent, now its only dangerous coz its full of green run whackers falling down it just so they can brag to their pals they 'rode' it. The real blast of this run used to be straight lining it out the tunnel and then you just droped away before you eyes even adjusted to the light, Its also not so fun on a board as its basically a super icey mogul field.

La Grave - This place is super gnarly loads of hidden rocks, drops, cliffs, leap of faith lines probably the highest chance of anywhere i have ridden of at least hurting yourself really badly if you don't take a guide. Super cool place tho, awesome views, and picturesque french village, a nicer alternative to Alpe d'huez or Les Deux Chavs.

Really depends on snow conditions. Had an amazing ride down Santons (easy blue), was nicely tubular, like a little half pipe, 10cm of powder and bright sunshine.
Next day was the worst run ever, frozen, full of people falling over and a total whiteout, got taken out twice by out of control skiers.

i think as snowboarders we have it easier sometimes, you don't have to commit 100% to get down steep runs, and always have side slipping to fall back on...

riders sideslipping steeper pistes are the scurge of the mountain, there like plough's taking all the snow off the hill for everyone else.

then they get to bar and tell everyone how skiiers ruin the snow for snowboarders Rolling Eyes

Haha... so true. Obviously sketchy boarding post-aprés is a given in most Euro resorts, but there's something about the run from the Mooserwirt/Krazy Kanguruh. Saw many blood wagons running down that stretch of piste when I was there in January.

On topic, The Face wasn't that bad really. It was more of a workout than it was terrifying (I'd only progressed to black pistes a week or so before), though I did catch it when the conditions were almost perfect.

I've done Harikiri a couple of times but to be honest it's pretty dull. Short, steep and icey. It's more fun getting the chair that goes over it and watching people losing it. Slightly concerning that there's often a helipad next to the bottom of it specifically for airlifting people.

Yeah, the entrance is pretty damn intimidating. I got the belly flip flops looking over the overhang if you go further over to the right of the drop in.
