Name: Kel & Bethany (never posted, just lurked!)

Age: 58 (combined age)

Weight: No idea

Height: 6ft (not combined height)

Regular/Goofy: Regular (Kel), Goofy (Beth)

Equipment: Lots of Burton beginner level gear we got cheap from the interwebs!

Experience: Since taking the little one for a snowboarding lesson last Sept we've got hooked ourselves. Racking up around 30 hours+ on our local slope (Xscape Cas) and a few sessions at CFe

Resorts Visited: Not yet. We'd like to once we've stopped being crap at the indoor jobbies. Tho we did drive up into the Peak District during the recent snow spell in the UK and we rode those out in the wild - does that count? Smile

Goals: Attend a freestyle night and not get put off by young kids who can do amazing tricks on park elements whilst we watch / fall. To move our riding on since we've both nailed the basics essentially...

Experience . Done my lessons at cas and a few solo shifts.. Never been away apart from. ( edit since my lessons )
Resorts visited. Tremblant, long story involving international terrorism and there was no snow at all. Hopfully visiting a ski centre just south of krakow next season.
Goals . Learn the basics and hopfully meet a couple of new friends that are into boarding too at whatever level. Ive wanted to learn this for ages and so sick of waiting for a normal mate to have a go , that i decided to just go solo.

Age: 37

Height: 5ft 7in

Weight: 11 stone

Regular/Goofy: Regular

Equipment: DWD Rat 151, Salomon Special II 156, Salomon Chief Bindings

Experience: Benn riding for 17 years but with 10 year break that I now seriously regret. Only just recently got back into boarding.

Resorts Visited: Alpe D'Huez, La Plagne, Meribel

Local Slope: Outdoor is Sheffield but I only ever go to Cas.

Goals: Learn the freestyle basics and take what I've learnt to the mountains at least once a year. Get good enough to hit everything on a Friday night at Cas. Would be good to meet some new people as well. Ride in powder in Vermont. The list goes on!

Age: 34

Height: 5ft 9in

Weight: 12 stone 7lbs

Regular/Goofy: Regular

Equipment: Salomon Acid 2011 155 with Union Contract bindings, Illuminati Air 152 with Flow pro 11 bindings. Vans Encore boots. Burton Red D3O crashpants and some aussie biker spine armour (badly needed with my condition!)

Experience: Took up snowboarding in 2010 to try and recover from the destruction of my marriage of 10 years. Learned indoor on a full day lesson at Cfe manchester and took things from there.

Visited Andorra and tackled everything up to Black 1 runs (scary!). Did my first off piste runs there, too. Much preferred reds to blacks for fun.

Recent issues with a mobility condition took me off the slopes while I was learning to freestyle. After a break I find my skills much reduced. At Cfe I am confident on the main slope but now riding switch and anything involving too much front foot (my left) is difficult. My freestyling is probably reduced to 50/50s only at the moment.

Resorts Visited: Grandvalira, Andorra (Soldeu). Vallnord, Andorra

Local Slope: Chill Factore, Manchester.

Goals: Get over the worst of my mobility condition and get back on the slope. Continue to learn freestyling then hit a good resort in 2013. Hook up with a UK crew to have fun with and learn from.
