Right, we've been let down by the underwriters being out of the office. They are working on it now and are saying Friday or Monday. I appreciate that's too late for those (including myself) waiting on this for the Winter Bash. I'm personally going to go with the Maverix policy (as it's so close to our original policy) for the week and then get an annual SCUK policy when that's sorted.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

The bash is going on at the moment so I would imagine that it won't be till they're back that things begin to get sorted!

Only I was away, but basically we're waiting on the underwriters still. To say this is frustrating is an understatement.

It's not a dig at you dunx, but you can tell them i've now arranged elsewhere, as they couldn't pull their finger out.
I'm off this week, and couldnt wait.

Hey Dunx, sorry but I go away very soon - is there another week long insurer you can recommend so that I can at least secure insurance in case the hol goes tits up and then get the annual one when its back up and running? My SCUK annual ran out last week and I've been holding off.... holiday soon, but am worried if I break a leg between now and hol - at the moment I'm not covered. Sad

Are the underwriters still .....erm underwriting or whatever it is that they do??

Is there any progress? I only ask as my annual policy has expired and I'm off to the mountains again next weekend..
