Who would be up for this? No idea about prices, but they'd do us a good deal I'm sure. Just need to gauge interest.

Won't be there myself at the Winter Bash but I did a Maverix Freestyle Course in Braehead on Sunday and it was awesome So I'd encourage anyone who is booked on the Winter Bash to have ago at one of their coaching sessions |

You can amend options at any time.
Lessons will be based on ability, so would depend what ability you are as to what you'll be doing.
The Maverix coaching will again depend on ability and demand, so there's always scope to do several different sessions throughout the week or simultaneously if they have a number of coaches. In addition Maverix know the resort very well generally.
I'll ask J to respond further. |

The basic plan is to offer some specific coaching clinics centred around different areas of development. This can be piste, off-piste and park. We have our 2 level system in place to help people select a more appropriate level of group.
http://www.maverix.org/course-prerequisites/
Each session will be 3 hours to allow for ample warm up, progression and warm down time. Max group size will be 6 and you’ll get the usual extras of top level photography and video. As we work closely with SCUK and I have a sweet hook up in resort, I’ll be able to keep the costs down for you guys. I’m currently looking at £50 per person per session.
We won’t be offering beginner lessons though. That is the bread and butter of the resort, so I would not want to take money away from the local instructors for that. I can specify the group focus during the week, so you guys can pre-order your training session before you go away, or I can be in resort and discuss the plan depending on slope conditions.
The coaching will only be provided by myself. I’ve spent numerous weeks in the Hoff and know the resort well and can help you guys find some sweet shred spots and make the most of your time on the hill. If you have any more questions, feel free to post.

thanks for the info dunx. can you please let me know if i still make these changes even though i've paid for the whole thing already?
i'd contact them directly, but i can't say i'm very confident re. their handling of our queries so far: tom pain hasn't bothered responding to my original email (13/10), or the one i forwarded to him later (24/10). |
