Hey guys Smile

Wanted to fill you in on our new 'Adventure Series', if you're looking for a snowboard camp with a difference this year, then this is it!

In a nutshell the Adventure Series serves to showcase a different resort and culture every year, for the first camp we'll be heading to Hemsedal, Norway.

If your initial reaction to that was... "Why Norway!?"
Our answer is "Why not!", so read on and you'll see why.....

The resort is truly awesome! Big wide open pistes, a total of 4 freestyle parks, picturesque pine forests to charge through and easily accessible off piste.

You'll get a full 6 days coaching from the Onyx ISIA/ISTD team, with the focus being around fun and versatility on all parts of the mountain. Max coaching ratio as always is 1:6 and this camp caters for any rider who is competent on a blue run.

This is topped off with 7 nights luxurious ski in/out self catering accommodation, each housing it’s own log fire and SAUNA!

Add to that apres to rival the Austrians, the optional opportunity for dog sledding and kite snowboarding, and we think you’ll agree, this isn't just a snowboard camp, this is a Scandinavian adventure!

The camp runs from 11-18th March 2012 and you can find full details at:
www.onyxsnowboarding.com
or drop us a line at
info@onyxsnowboarding.com

We hope to see you in Norway!
Baden

Mmmmm, I may well be down for this if I can get the time off work! Hemsedal has been on my hitlist for a long, long time, the place looks awesome.

Definitely looks like an awesome camp! I don't think funds will allow this year but I might start saving for the next one Smile

Hemsedal is awsome, the parks are crazy, great runs through the trees and there are plenty of easy on the eye Scandinavian chicks wiggling about.

Apres to rival Austria though? Not to sure about that one. Norway in general is not really a going out to booze type country. And I am pretty sure there is just one apres bar in Hemsedal. The Hemsedal cafe.

@SquishyBG - I'm sure you can chat to the boss nicely and claim it will help you in your job if dealing with Norwegian clients...... or something along those lines Wink

@CjKit - This will be the only year in Hemsedal (for the near future anyway), the whole idea behind the adventure series is that we showcase a new resort each time and we've already chosen our hotspot for 2013 Smile and no I'm telling you where until next year lol

@Badgery - You're right mate, the Hemsedal cafe is indeed a great place down in town, but there are more awesome places to get your apres on. There is a full list here http://www.hemsedal.com/en-gb/Food--Nightlife.aspx of all bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Our ski in/out accommodation is located up at the skicentre giving us the best of both worlds in terms of easy starts to your day riding, plus access to bars/restaurants there and also down in the town in only a few minutes.

It's also worth mentioning that in terms of night clubs there is the 'Hemsen' which is actually one of the largest clubs in Norway. So I think apres is well covered Smile
