Did you read the petition?
On August 18, 2011 The Russian Paralympic Committee REJECTED a proposal by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the World Snowboard Federation (WSF) to include Para-Snowboard Cross Standing – Men and Women events in the 2014 Sochi Paralympic games.
Hardly several years too late. A lot of people have been working hard to have snowboarding included in the paralympics, including running events on the same courses as the Olympic qualifiers. It was a recent decision to not have it included, it was not decided several years ago. Read the petition, sign it and don't be so defeatist. |
