Hey, I'm so excited for the new season! I am so happy though about the recent updates and news from the scottish resorts especially glencoe my favourite!!! I think the only thing glencoe could do with now is a new chair lift (as much as i love the die hard braveheart chair its getting on abit now)
The beauty of glencoe for me is that glencoe is pretty much left ungroomed in many areas and it's like a big freeride playground with lifts. I'm so so happy now to hear that this season they are introducing new accommodation at a great price on site with facilities open til late!!! this is such a great move i can't imagine anything better than sitting out watching those stars at night in the coe and be able to wake up and ride the fresh first lift up in the daya last lift down. Also the lift pass is now cheaper!! i love glencoe !!!!!!! |

| I think you'll find the braveheart chair at the Nevis range, but let's not let the facts get in the way of your excitement |

| Have a look on the glencoe park crew facebook. They had a newsletter out with info about the huts. Would be good if it was mild enough for beers and a BBQ outside. I've still not ridden there because I'm an hr from Glenshee but will prob head over this season. |

| I love Glencoe. It offers a really friendly atmosphere, great variety in terms of terrain and when the snow gods are kind and the sun shines it has powder and the scenery to match anywhere else in the world. It's not a huge resort and the weather can be capricious but even on days where the visibility is lacking it's one of my favourite places. The developments they are working on seem really positive. |

| sure they will have a license since they serve alcohol through the day, no reason to suppose they can't sell it in the evening. |

Does anyone know if the plateau rope tow will be up and running for the start of this season? I've only heard rumours about them installing one.
I find it realoly hard to convince my mates to go to Glencoe because they find the plateau poma too tricky. Really annoying because it has some of the best terrain in the country in my opinion

As i understand it the rope tow will be up and running for this season. I know people find the plateau poma a bit vigorous but a little practice makes perfect. I remember getting launched by it and feeling i would never get the hang but you do eventually. I've also found that the lifties are really encouraging so if you do crash and burn on your first or second attempt, there is no shuffling to the back of the queue again, shamefaced at your lack of skills. In no time at all you'll go from to |

| any idea whats the best way to get up to glencoe etc ?? dont really fancy driving up there from the midlands.. im also conscious that many peeps say you cant really book ahead due to the weather being unpredictable so i guess that cuts out most of the cheap book in advance train/coach options ?!!! |
