Hi,
Haven't been to any of the Uk snowdomes before but have a couple friends going to learn to Ski there and thought i might tag along just to hit the slope a few times. Was just wondering if the Learn to freestyle course is any good?
Thank Rhys

I was there on Friday before going to the Ski and Snowboard Show at the NEC on Saturday.
I really enjoyed the course - never tried any freestyle work before so was a steep learning curve, I would say practice your switch before going, mine was very rusty as I've not forced myself to ride in a while.
We started off with posture/technique exercises before moving on to how to ollie.
We practiced ollies over objects etc then started to introduce frontside 180s.
In the afternoon we had a drainpipe, box, and 18" kicker to play with - we worked on 50-50s and started to try board slides until I fell and had a big fall on my coccyx put everyone else off
I'd certainly recommend the course - I can't wait tot hit a few Saturday night sessions - 3.5 hours for £35 or £24.50 if you're a member - but I will be investing in some impact shorts first though!
