Post subject: Snozone MK or Snow Centre Hemel?  PostPosted: Oct 27, 2011 - 04:28 PM

I'm looking at starting to snowboard, something i've never tried before.

I'm over an hour away from either site, but without going to a John Nike centre thought it may be softer to land on real snow, as opposed to velcro.

Anyway, my point:

Which of these sites would you choose if it were you, There isn't a massive cost or distance difference so purely down to facilities quality of snow / quality of teaching?

Thanks in advance.

Hemel 1000 times over, newer, brighter, less run down, better snow, friendlier staff.

I'd say to learn to go to MK, the tow rope is a killer at Hemel, it's much easier on the travelator at MK.
