Gary / Danny are the only people I trust when it comes to building and maintaining any of my cars, Gary built up my GTR over a 5 year period.
Opentracks is open to all car clubs ... just a case of booking up front on Dave's website. Good value compared to lots of other companies.
In the past I've rented snetterton for my club (www.bigpower.co.uk) however it was always a bit scary at the last minute not having sold enough slots to make it viable, then having a last minute manic sell fest so thankfully covering it.
Since I sold the GTR (9 to 12mpg was getting expensive) I'm toying with an Evo especially as I know I can have it worked on by APT. I love what they've done to their car plus Logan's Sprint winning machine, so maybe a 7 / 8 is on the cards.
You norwich based?.
Yep and I'm not a local either (only been here for about 3 years). My car's an 8 (03 plate, fq300 pre MR) and I'll probably sell it soon (depending on the market). I got a remap by Gary earlier this year and it still averages about 19 or 20mpg. I actually got 29mpg on a combined motorway (obviously not in Norfolk then) and around town drive since the remap, but I was taking it easy on the motorway drive (average of 65mph!). Obviously I didn't buy it to get good mpg though. I haven't had it on the track and probably never will as I work far too much and never seem to have time to do anything fun anymore (although I did manage to fall my way around chill factor this weekend).

Narfalk people are really good at swimming apparently .. the webbed hands / feet .
Funny thing is I barely know any real narfalk bred people, most of the people I work with / hang out with are from the southern counties. |
