| been going to my local dry slope a few weeks, feeling comfortable/confident on my board now, still have a few crap runs. i dont seem to be getting high enough on my edges though and means my turns are maybe alot bigger than they could be, i probably use my shoulders too much but has anybody got any advice? |

| All I remember from learning on dry slopes is "bend your knees more" so if this helps, you are welcome. If not I am sorry. |

| Also, it's probably best to think of it in terms of applying pressure to your edges rather than getting your edge high. A harder, tighter carve is achieved by putting more effective pressure on your edges. You need to work up to that on dryslope because you need good technique to avoid your edge from sliding out. |

Dry slopes also work better with sharp edges, if you want the edge to hold that is. They blunt pretty fast on there - it's definitely easier to edge if they're sharp.
I think it helps if you can think about what you're trying to do with the edge, which it sounds like you are doing. |
