i'm itching for a full winters riding this year. January for me used to mean fleeing the winter for a month of beachlife in Thailand but last year i decided to embrace the cold for a change and get active. Got myself a brand new set-up, headed to Braehead for a wee refresher session (it had been a couple of years snce i'd had a go) and got about 20 yards down the slope before bailing spectacularly and breaking both my wrist and my cocyx. Spent the best part of January and first two weeks of February willing the bones to heal (and sitting funny).

Still managed to get about 20 days riding in Glencoe but could have been double that easily so this year i am praying to the snow gods bigtime!

The only pain for me is getting to any spots by car, RWD is a little too much fun in the snow sometimes.
