Nope Crying or Very sad
I get too many partially funded trips to actually organise any of my own: SCUK Bash, Brits and possibly SA this year. I've had to turn down one to Serbia already as it leaves tomorrow and clashes with the Bash. I'm no getting much sympathy I can tell Smile

had first tracks Annupuri bowls yesterday and thought that was nice. Today is kicking off big time. Tomorrow morning is not a time to be not in Hokkaido! There's still time to book haha.

Tuesday was sunny and blue with very good quality dry snow but no deepies. Good day for guiding duties. Wed / Thurs bit ordinary weatherwise but was on "sick kid watch" those days anyway. It's funny, it doesn't snow for 2 days and people are up in arms, translate that around the rest of the World...

I dunno if this will get you any sympathy, but you are missing out on some epic conditions on the Serbia trip. Our main problem now is we don't know if we can make it to Belgrade to fly out!

have you listed it on kutchannel?
you could try the Sapporo-centric Hokkaido Insider too.
failing that you could just stay and ride it again next season

Myoko has had a fantastic snow season again this year, I haven't made it up there yet but the numbers coming out are crazy......350-420 at the 3 main resorts of Suginohara, Akakan and Akakura Onsen with Seki Onsen reporting over 500cms!! Here are some pics from Myoko, mostly Akakan I think, not mines, just another poster of Snowjapan snapped them....thought I'd pinch em and give peeps a look...

another from Nozawa Onsen, pinched from Lodge Nagano's Facebook page

The weather has turned a tad warm.....a little rain has been reported in resorts over honshu but the good news is that from tomorrow night, the pow tap should be turned back on....hope there isn't a lot of rain damage

warmed up here a touch mid week, no rain though. It got very foggy which created a kind of fairy tale feeling around the many forested areas of the mountain. The trees are the place to be in those conditions, the only place where you can see! Mrs w2s broke her Strawberries duck on Tuesday and is now a fully fledged powder hound.
Since Thursday we've been gripped by very cold very snowy weather <sigh> and it looks set to keep going a while yet. Ho hum.

yea Niigata and Honshu had a bit of rain on Monday and Tuesday, which wouldn't have been good for the snow but since there is between 3 and 4 metres of the stuff, I'm not too worried. Snow is forecast from tomorrow, I'm heading up to Yuzawa area again or possibly Gunma on saturday....gonna leave it to the last minute before deciding.

I loved Strawberries when I was up in Niseko....great pow shots all day

Kicking off in Niseko since Wednesday's storm. Thursday people were raving about the snow, Friday made Thursday look tame, today I was up to my neck in it. O-sawa the place to be but don't tell Hush! It's a secret
Been riding gentemstick all week. 500yen to pick up in the afternoon and drop off at the end of the next day. way to go.
Anyways, very much snowing again tonight, let's see what tomorrow has to offer.
