A question that's been asked many times before, but this is for quite a specific purpose.
In a coupla weeks my wife and I are heading to a wedding near Aylesbury. We've narrowed the choice of overnight hotels to two - one nearer MK, and one nearer Hemel. THe two hotels are fairly similar both in terms of facilities and price.
On the way back home I was going to drop in at a fridge and have a brief shred. It'll be a Sunday afternoon and if there's anything out to play on that may be a bonus, although I'm not too fussed.
My other half won't be riding, and probably won't be wanting to watch me so I've gotta take that into account!
What does everyone think? MK or HH? |

| Like u say been asked before and you'll have people arguing for and against both I've done both but actually taking into account what uve said I'd say MK reason being if ur misses isn't boarding there's loads of shops in Xscape and the centre MK is 2 mins walk as far as I could tell there's nothing in walking distance at Hemel so shed have to watch the whole time. |

| Hemel would be better for you as snow is nicer etc, MK better for not letting your mrs get bored. |

Hemel has just been thawed and redone I believe. I'd go there.
Not sure where you got your info from, they would have to close for weeks.
They do continually remove snow and make new, this is done a lot more than the other slopes, hence why its in better condition.
Hemel town centre is a 20/30min walk away (or a bus/ taxi) Hemel does have a nice viewing area. |

| Apparently a total thaw/refresh would take 4 months! Staff training on Monday, so they left the snow-making on a little longer than usual. That's all. |

It takes a couple of hours to do my fridge. Have they tried opening all the doors. |

| Just ridden at hemel last night and thursday night, they made it snow for 8 hours on monday. As a result, it's the best I've ever ridden indoors, and even in some resorts haha! |
