i dont hate him? Other than the name, i quite like the idea of it - the logo is awesome. But yeah, the photo doesnt look right when you really look it at it - i dont think it will be long though, there is speculation he'll go to Coca Cola - which people will rip into him for, but i dont know anyone who drinks energy drinks more often than coca cola drinks, so theres not much issue in it. |

it always amazes me just how much money redbull specifically seem to have to piss up the wall on things. They surely must have other revenues from people just buying their drinks??
also (sorry on the subject of energy drinks!) Who on earth is going to spend 120 euro's (in my local store) on a monster hoody!!! |

Could not agree with you more - on both points!
With the amount of pies Red Bull have their fingers in (with all the athletes, team members, back-of-house crews, events they sponsor/run along with everything else) ive never been able to see how they make enough money from drink sales - especially when they have less than 10 products on the market that i can think of!
I know they're pretty expensive, but it really makes no sense what so ever.
And on the subject of energy drink clothing, pretty much all of Red Bulls official stuff is exclusively for their employees/team members - occasionally an official Red Bull BMX helmet pops up on eBay and goes for £200+. I saw a Red Bull water bottle go for something like £40 once.
Besides, Monster may be the nicest* tasting of the energy drinks (in my opinion), its clothing looks bloody hideous. Black with fluorescent green tears on it? Looks like something from a damn emo/goth shop! |
