Post subject: I WANT TO GO SNOWBOARDING RIGHT NOW

This time of year officially sucks. Everyone is starting to complain that the summer is nearly over and all I can think is I don't know why we have to have bloody summers at all.
The only positive is that it's more than half way between my last holiday finishing and my next one starting so at least I feel like I'm getting closer to snow rather than further away from it.
Fridge riding is unsufficient, hitting the Onyx day at Cas but aside from that all funds are now allocated to paying for next winter's holidays. Something tells me my Morzine trip in 2 weeks time is only going to make matters worse, however beautiful it might be to be in the mountains, and however exciting is it going flathunting, and however nice it will be to not be in work for a week, I will still be looking out of the chalet window each morning at mountains that would just be so much more exciting with snow on them.
Just needed to get out some of my frustration. I'm done now.  |

I open my bedroom curtains everyday, stand there with nothing on but a semi, and look out over the Nevis range wishing for winter

ah... I love summer. skateboarding for the win.
Y'all need to get summer hobbies I find having several bikes and skateboards help.
although i too would have sex with snowboarding... its not the best feeling of all the sports I do, but its defo on par.... |

I think about snow daily. Posters, stacks of magazines, wallpapers, films, a house that smells of christmas (not sure why) and plenty of snowboards in various places - its extremely hard not to :/
I just love waking up to winter - the knowledge ill be getting plenty of powder next year is sustaining me :') |
