Ok folks, time for me to stop being a complete tit for a minute

How about organising a meet up at a scotish resortonce the snow arrives?

I live in the shaddow of the nevis range, so i can give a proper snow report and can also get day tickets for £12, so a cheap day can be had

If anybody wants a good, cheap hotel sorting, i can get details of those too

Hard to take you seriously, but yes i'll be up for that when the time comes. Condition dependant obviously but would be a good laugh.

we could organise a day up the cairngorm, i would presume a weekend day would be best because of work during the week?

the cairgorms gets really busy though, so if people want to meet there, then fair enough, i'll be fine with that, but if people want a less crowded place, with smaller queues, then somewhere like the nevis range or glancoe would be better.

If people are REALLY feeling adventurous, then there's always the back corries at the nevis range.... http://youtu.be/D9ztOTdJ0eM

Gorms @ the weekends when conditions are good = totally pointless. You'll spend more time standing around in queues gettign frustrated at the mismanagement on the hill, than you will actually sliding down it.

And if you're feeling REALLY, REALLY adventurous Thief, I'll take you in at Chancers instead of Backtrack Wink

That video .... can't wait for the snow!!
You fell down a lot... *shrugs*... was that off-piste or a black or something? not familiar with the nevis range. Was there a reason for falling down a lot?

can't wait for the snow!!
