You contradict yourself so many times Thief. Yes the rioters are scum, but they are scum because of their ACTIONS not their circumstances. Robert Maxwell who stole millions in pensions was scum, MP's who stole off us are scum - it's their actions that make them that.
You determine people as scum by the cloths they wear, where they live, if you claim benefits your automatically scum, the colour of your skin the.... list goes on. You are amusing, your'e like everyones aged uncle/grandad that people dread friends meeting just incase he says something innapropriate, but your under 40? You believe every sterotype going, believe every piece of trash reported in the papers as the gospel truth. Yet you conform to every stereotype that there is about the English man - bigoted, racist and a mysogynist. You are 1950's man |

It saddens me that things like this make me seek understanding of things i am simply unable to understand, it also saddens me that i empathize with more of what Thief says than i am sometimes comfortable with...
All you can do is take a step and see what this has become, and that is 'opportunism' all the waring political factions and their alarmist lap dog tabloids seek to use these events to leverage their agenda's, the 'poor' use it to get more sh1t for free, the 'rich' use it as an excuse to avoid paying out even more of their money to people they don't think deserve it, now everyone has their own angle...
conclusion : There isn't one, i tire of the worlds problems and debating any kind of solution to them, and since there isn't any snow rite now - i'm gonna head out n do some longboarding and try and forget about all this sh1t - i suggest ya'll do the same or grab a stick and go hit the dome...

Generally this forum is a little different to many others. Yes it's the Internet, but there's a higher proportion of people here who actually meet each other, so I guess it tends to operate slightly different to most forums.
I guess that's why people aren't quite so detached on here as most other forums. |
