Great Day, bit quiet to start with but started to get busier. Nice to meet people from the forum, Big Thanks to "Mummybear" for all her hard work, and to Steve for taking some pics which will no doubt be hilarious if any of my "FAILS" have been snapped. Very Happy Thumbs Up

Good fun meeting other SCUK folks and trying a bit or rail and kicker (not in the most spectacular fashion).

The pint at lunchtime definitely helped Smile

Look forward to seeing regular faces at Braehead again or even at Cairngorm/Glenshee in the winter.

Thanks to everyone involved for making the day happen.

Canny beat the "DJ" who got chibbed out for just helping himself to the Dj equipment and £30 for a full body ski suit, who can complain at that. Shame i couldnt hit the slope.

Apart from 2 very brusied knees I really enjoyed myself yesterday, So thanks to Mummybear and everyone else for organising it and good to meet a few people from the board as well (Tho it was a bit hit and miss trying to figure who was off the board as who wasn't), I'd certainly be up for another meet next year or possibly one up north if I can't get my lazy mates to strap on the boards this winter

Just wondering if the girl who came off the small box yesterday just as we were leaving the slope at 4 o'clock was ok and she seemed to have given herself a bit of a sore one Sad

She seemed fine afterwards. Just dragged the corner of the box along her back.

Apart from not riding well it was a decent day yesterday. Good to get riding again

Or speaking to quite a load of people actually and introduced myself to a few others, although if they never had SCUK stickers it'd just be a guess as to who the members were.

Sounds like it all went well apart from the DJ being removed by the police. Will be speaking to SNO!zone about that on Monday and having some harsh words with Scottish Snow Sports Festival who brought him along.

Everybody gets stickers when they join, so stick 'em on yer lids! Smile

Haha, was the Dj involved with anything? Gina and myself just thought he was a random who wanted a shot on the decks haha. His music was pretty good though, shame he got flung out.

Chuffed with my SCUK hoody I received for the 12 course (I'm Euan by the way), never seen or heard much of the DJ or the trouble as I was having too much fun on the slope with my new setup. Hope it goes ahead next year/ next month Wink haha
