I'am so happy tonight, just managed to do my first box at Braehead.
Ok it was the smallest one, but did it on the third try ( landed).
A big thanks for the helping hand of Jill, I think. |

Hey Mummybear,
congrats on pulling off the freestyle moves, the only box I've ever been near is the one my pizza comes in.
Two weeks until the bash then you can show us how it's done, although I'm heading to Braehead Sunday(tomorrow ) afternoon for a couple of hours, are there any features out on a Sunday? If so I might just have a go myself. Who knows might see some of you other SCUK ers there. |

Nice one mummy bear... the first couple of times are a bit... !!! BANSAI !!!
Real nice on the ego when you pull off a new move like that... in the mind the crowd roars! the crowd being everyone in the Chinese restaurant.
Did they have the taller, longer box out with a snow ramp leading onto it? If they did then I fell off that a cracker on Friday... first aider needed proof I was OK before being allowed to go back on the slope. Oh it was sore...
At the bash, if your interested, I'll can talk you though how to do a few basic tricks on the box. No expert myself but the offers there. |

That's very kind of you, if I'am feeling brave on that day I will take you up on that. |

Yeah I had a go, I typed it up in the wrong section (braehead bash), it was a quality couple of hours, I'm definetely happy about giving it a try and now I'm even thinking about trying it at my local dry slope here in Aberdeen. To be honest the only thing thats putting me off is having to share the slope with ten year old gear heads with all the "skillzzzz", god only knows what they will be thinking when I turn up in this old skin with a board thats older than them! |

You are absolutely spot on there Mummybear, it's like a eureka moment when you land it for the first time, I had a sh*t eating grin on my face for the rest of the day. I cant wait to get down there, and now Crunchynut says they are putting out the gas pipe I'm just dying for a go on that. |

Is that the black Corrugated pipe that makes a great noise when you go over it, if so that would be brilliant to do. |
