Ive done a fair bit of surfing and have found some basic details, but wondering if anyone has ever been or knows anyone who has? bascily we're giving up our season this year and going traveling instead but want to fit in a few weeks/a month skiing in india. Not really looking for good quality skiing, just the experience. Afraid Gulmarg is out of the question for us.

Mainly wondering if anyone had any first had experience on the roads and their conditions in winter (ie... are we going to end up getting stuck there until spring lol)

Just to clarify, ive done the google searches and was just wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge or something they think i may not have found

Smile

Didn't the BBC's Altitude do a report a couple of years ago?

ha. im ashamed to say i do now dabble in the dark art of skiing sometimes (butyou can go sooooo fast!!!!).... but even im surprised i used the term 'skiing' on SCUK!! i do apologise!

chears pugster, i'll try and find that.

Smile

ps... the only reason i wacked out the skis is because some little sh!t nicked my board with 3 weeks left of the season last year Sad they were all i could get. took to it very easily so obviously its a piece of piss and nowhere near as good as boarding. Smile

i never thought someone would nick my board..... i mean it had Flows!!!! (and i bl00dy loved em!!)
