Just sat on the couch reflecting on my Definition Kicker course today.
I cannot recommend this highly enough!!!
Gav's teaching methods were spot on, explaining the fundamentals in terms you can relate to. Every hit came with a debrief of 'how did that feel? this is what you did, this is why that happened' etc.
Really patient guy and the advice has made a real difference.
Don't be put off by the price, the £110 includes a full 9-5 day of riding which believe me is enough!
I feel like I've been run over but I've got a massive grin going. |

I was down at CAS today for a few hours.
Saw the definition kicker, it looked like a fairly small group you had today so for £110.00 you can't go wrong really.
How many was there looked like 3 - 4 tops!!
I was having a play on the blue box at the bottom today. I think I'll get myself booked on only of these courses next time around, looked alot of fun. |

Good description of the course Johnno - would describe it the exact same. I'm absolutely buggered today (to the extent that I've had to work from home as I couldn't face hobbling round the office all day) but still loving it and have basically spent all morning telling people about it. For £190 (incl the SCuK discount) I've had best part of 16hours riding over two days as well as pretty much 1 on 1 tuition from Gav over both days (2 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday) - can't really beat that (even if it would appear Gav's a jambo!)...
And as a freestyle noob I didn't feel once like I was being left behind/missing out on anything while you guys were getting your grabs/180's on - every run got the same feedback on how to improve (and how each attempt was compared to previous ones etc) and encouragement to get better.
Def most fun I've had boarding and the best £190 I've spent on riding since I started last year, and was good to meet another couple of SCUKers in the process too! |

A massive thanks to Chris from Definition who ran the improver, tricks and tips night last Wednesday at Hemel.
Some quality drills to iron out my technique, and the most impressive part was that when I felt I was ready to move on or had a question to ask as i was coming up the lift....Chris told me what to do, and how to do it before i could even ask.
I walked away exhausted but with loads of progression...a quality base and drills to practice with....all in all a top night.
