+1 for this - Evolution is a great shop with great staff..
Showcase have a demo hut @ the round house on Whistler mountain, they carry lots of big makes like Lib, Forum, Burton etc. however the queues are often long, i wasted most of one morning trying a forum destroyer only to find the idiot working in the demo hut who was so freakin stoned and hung over he could barely stand up and took 25 mins to put bindings on it, gave me the regular camber version ( which i didn't want !! ) and didn't secure the lead binding plate correctly nearly killing me ... Never again ! |

Cheers for the tip. I don't want to spend half my holiday queueing for boards so am tempted to get one before I go out. Money goes into the UK market then too... but what to get??
Showcase are having a big demo event on the 14-15th apparently. |

I think your money will go a bit further in the UK too, if your getting paid in UK pounds Canadian priced are a fair bit more expensive these days.
If you swing by a dome TSA used to let you demo boards there no problems. |

My first ever time snowboarding was in Whistler a few years back. The Symphony bowl was my favourite part of the mountain; deep powder and hardly anyone around! |

Chucked in my job, and fly out to Whistler for 4 weeks on Saturday.
How is it looking out there?
Snow forecasts are predicting some good falls this week but still would like to hear some first hand reports.
Keen to catch up for a beer/ride with any SCUKers out there in March. |
