Goofy was more difficult than I thought. 180s on the other hand; piece of p155.
Didn't really do so good with regular either if I'm honest.

The slope was bumpy down the sides and there was ice down the middle.
Not a good day boarding....
Twisted my left knee a bit and left ribs hurt when I sneeze.

Smile

can ride switch now! easy.

do it as soon as you can ride well with your leading foot.

180s are also easy... real 180s with a hop are a different story. Smile

i really like snowboarding.

Nobody really cares, and if you can ride both stances equally as good then you really are onto a good thing Smile

I am lucky cos my riding matches my personality..... goofy! and I will get worried that when I master switch my personality will follow (not sure I want to swing both ways.. lol)

tell you why it was a good idea to learn how to ride switch. Basically was up a mountain and time and time again the only way to start after a fall without smashing into some rocks was to turn goofy, couldn't do it... another fall.

took a while but it's the binding angles, had them at +15 -6 and quite a narrow stance. The back foot at -6 was to learn how to ride regular well, to get the pressure on the edges. After that was down set the bindings to +15 -15 and widened the stance just a bit.

it feels odd! but as long as you look at where you want to go the rest just follows. it's completely worth doing! and doing soon as you can without rushing it.

Got a lesson on Sunday and hopefully the instructor will comment on if the style is fine. Feels fine.

Twisted Evil

Nice one folks! later.
