heard a wisper that freestyle at Chill is to be reduced to fortnightly with a very basic set up, that the construction works to strenghthen the slope have been completed but kickers are not to be constructed (bad times).

Also the introduction of zorbing on the slope.......i ask you....

Anybody else heard anything......................

Would be a great loss if freestyle at Chill is cut

sad state of affairs if its true. I kind of always wondered the point of domes, there really only any good for learning in and freestyle, unfortunately neither of which seem to make enough money Sad

Can't see that happening after they've forked out several £1000s on rails, etc. Also, it's already more than once a week, so not sure how they could cut it right back to fortnightly... especially as summer is coming.

But I happen to know who swim2 is... so who knows.

Freestylers are scum.

What they need is lots of cake eaters in there.

Everybody realises that it's the once a year brigade that keep the place going not the regulars.

This post is obviously from a disgruntled insider. The quicker the place goes bust the better, then it can be taken over by someone who understands how to look after your current customers as well as implementing change for the better.

I remember when the freestyle nights were absolutely buzzing. They killed that off at the end of last winter/spring. Needlessly. They could have still have rails and boxes out, they could still have a small kicker, but no, they drove everyone away. I bet Cas was never as busy.

Worst of all there was no clarity, no one was told why it was closed or when it would be all fixed. I'm still not 100% about the reasons given, none of it made sense to me.

And they won't allow the type of coaching the other domes have, Maverix, definition etc. Maybe that's why only a select few will come and use your huge rails and features now. BECAUSE most people can't use them.

They probably now think that freestyle evening isn't justified or making enough money for them. WELL WHO'S FAULT IS THAT?!?

F**CKING MORONS.

Chill if you need advice on how to run things your more than welcome to ask me. I know it must be difficult to keep everyone happy but It's not rocket science.

Zorbing. FFS.

surely this is a troll post to try and get a rise out of ppl??? someone like Thief trying to stir ppl up?

As Dunx said - they've spent a load on equipment and re-launching their Core nights this season. With summer around the corner they almost rely on the freestyle crowd (assuming they're looking at more than last summer's books 'cos there wasn't freestyle then...).

Saying all this, I completely agree with you Dylan with the respect to non-truths regarding the removal of kickers & 3rd party coaching.
