Ok, I will start this one off, as I have plenty of time for posting today....
Mike - Double fracture of neck of humerus (completely fecked shoulder). dont know how to paste my xray images, but pretty much looks identical to upper humeral fracture image in the following link....
http://www.ski-injury.com/specific-injuries/shoulder
Not pulling anything fancy at the time. Just hit ice and caught a big front edge. Many thanks to Jimbo for his patience during the very slow 2km decent before downloading to the clinic.
Thanks for everyones assistance and sympathy for last couple of days! |

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwccccccchhhhhhhhhh!
Well, you've gone one up on Neil from last year. Broken wrist, pffft!
Any sort of timeline given on repair or was it a patch job and go see NHS when you get back? |

Yeah Mike hope your recovery is speedy.
It could have been any of us.
I was in your guiding group when it happened and was going similar speed to you on that session. |

Cheers everyone,
French doc said 6 weeks in the Velcro contraption with physio starting after 3 weeks. Spending tomorrow with the nhs to see what they think.
It was good while it lasted, getting started on freestyle etc. Was gutted to miss the race and see if I could have improved on last year.
Mike
PS- Matty, as the Aussies said on our last tour down under... ashes in the bag, foot off the throttle for the ODI's, its not good for the game to completely humiliate a nation! |

| PS. You are a very smart man switching to an earlier flight. I would give anything to be at home right now. 90 minutes until take off... |
