Or am I looking in the right place? I'm thinking that it's about time I coughed up to use the site since I do use the forum from time to time. ISTR though that membership used to come with a DVD and a hat and maybe some other stuff - although also ISTR it used to cost a bit more. Did all that get scrapped in favour of just the discount scheme?
thanks |

| I think so. I thought I got free stuff too, but I got a couple of stickers and a membership card... |

No they canned it last year. Can't remember the exact reasons (poor memory) but its £15 for everyone now rather than paying an increased rate.
And you still get all the same discounts |

So they weren't 'freebies' then LOL - they were the additional membership money give-aways |

think it was £30 with 2 gifts (from t-shirt, beanie, edge-tool, pocket-tool or a lock plus option of a SCUK hoody upgrade) and now £15 with none.
around the same time the SCUK logo changed (and a lot of talk about SCUK 2.0 website and talk of offering SCUK merchandise through a shop on the new webby) so guess it was a decision that old SCUK-logo items were practically run out and no point getting more done until the new shop is open with the new logo's merch. if that makes sense. |

| If I remember rightly you could buy the £15 membership before anyway, maybe sales of the £30 memberships weren't enough to keep bothering? |

OK great stuff, I'll just get the £15 one then. I just wanted to make sure that I was looking in the right place and I wouldn't end up kicking myself when I saw the goodie-laden membership available on a different page.
Thanks all. |

The £15 is the only membership option available, so you're defo not missing out on anything! |

Hey All,
OK so the membership has changed, last year. We used to do an 'Adult' membership which cost £30 and came with 2 gifts, either a t-shirt, beanie etc.,and a 'Lite' membership that came with just a card and some stickers. We now only do a 'Full' membership, which comes with just a card, TSA voucher and some stickers.
If you got a beanie and a tool for £15 then you were very lucky or I made a mistake!
Hope this clears it up.
Cheers,
Jess |

Are any of the SCUK-branded items still available, or going to be made available to buy?
Knew I'd seen a board lock somewhere in the past and been searching around for one, only to remember that it was probably with the old 'full' membership.
Dear Jess, if you accidentally put one in my membership renewal when you're processing it this week I'll be very impressed, grateful and just generally in awe of your brilliance! |

| No SCUK-branded gubbins anymore on Boardwise? See there's a Burton board lock but no SCUK one anymore. |
