Okay, so it's almost time and I reckon this year we should put together a bit of a flick for the event, which is something we've not done before.

As pocket is on the WB as staff and has skills in this area, I'll task him with putting it together - not that I've asked him yet Smile

So, any decent footage you get which sums up the week for you, then get it to him and we'll see what we can patch together.

We'll make sure we get some good footage of the Quiz and Dash too.

Sounds like a few of you have the GoPro camera, so should be able to get quite a lot of footage!

I'd offer to help compile the footage, but I'll have Austria and Andorra to do for myself. Look forward to seeing it all when I get back Smile

Cheers Dunx, I'll look at setting up an FTP for people to upload their clips to rather than send ing me tapes etc.

I'm guessing most people will have HDD based devices or the ability to capture footage onto a computer if not.

I'm rocking an HD Pro and recently got the tripod attachment and a hand held monopod.

Good work Pocket - well volunteered Wink

ebay special for £8.99 and a couple of weeks from the Far East.

"Digital Camera Video Extender Hand Helder Monopod DC020"

Extends out and twists to lock it in place. Seems to do the job.

Bought mine from ebay (Leicester) just after new years and it failed to turn up. Well pissed off!

Got a Contour HD - will get it out for a few shots in the week for you! Just got to remember not to leave it on all the time like last years trip. Had sooo much footage I ended up not doing anything with it Wink

You can now use this form to upload any photos or video you have taken on the SCUK Winter Bash 2011 and would like to contribute to the Winter Bash video for this year.

If you have several files, please pop them into a zip file and upload that, there is a 200mb limit on the file size. If you have single files larger than this, please let me know and we'll see what we can do to transfer those files.

Please also add your SCUK username at the start of any files you upload, this is for a number of reasons, but mainly so I can credit any contributors.

Thanks

hey all,

I have now upped the file size which can be handled to 1GB so if you have large files, you can now use the form.

Squishy, how big was the file you tried to upload, I tested everything and it worked :/

I'll upload what I took of the Bash Dash - there's about five .mov clips in total.
Make of them what you can...
