I can't touch my toes standing up - I think I should be able to. Anyone else flexibility challenged?

Stick to the implied rules! Legs together. Knees straight. Wink

I've always thought that fairly strange. I'm a fat bloater with a gut to get in the way, but I can still touch my toes Very Happy

Yeah I can quite easily, but then I've been seeing a personal trainer for the past couple of months to make sure my legs and core are in good shape for boarding this winter.

When I started I couldn't do much, it's helped a great deal Smile Just do some regular leg excercises like squats and stuff to strengthen etc.

Of course I can Wink But then I do do karate and all and we've got to keep ourselves as flexible as possible Razz

The next question should be, can you do the splits!?
- my answer, unfortunately not completely. If I just do it the regular way ( body facing forward and open legs) then I'm about 30cm out, But if you turn the body to face my left leg then I'm probably only 15cm from the floor Razz

For reasons I've not been able to understand I can still touch my toes and do the splits, despite becoming allergic to exercise around the same time as I discovered alcohol, parties and boys about 12 years ago.

your next bindings?

Oh yes, bindings that are even more wrong than flows!

Speaking of which, has anyone looked at or tried the new Burton one strap things?

I can if I warm up, but it takes a few minutes.

Mind you, I've barely done any exercise in four months - the mountains may prove quite a shock next month.
