Normally means the session table has got too large for it's own good and needs a good clearout! There's more info on phpbb forums I seem to remember when I had a similar problem.

Dump your browser cache, shut it and reopen. Session errors with phpBB are usually due to an expired cookie that's got stuck in the browser, probably from before the crash. If it were site or database related I'd expect it to be effecting everyone.

I'll clear the session table. It was corrupt after the problem we had and I rebuilt, but a few people may be experiencing a problem if their records are pooped.

Okay, done. Let me know if the problem pops up again.

Same as on a PC. It depends on the browser, not the OS.

If you're using Safari then click 'Safari' in the menu and Empty Cache, then Reset Safari.

Firefox is Tools then Clear Recent History.

Chrome is Settings, Tools, Clear Browsing Data.
