Hi all,
I know a fair few of us haven't yet had confirmation that our final payments have been received. Might be worth getting all of our references together so StarSki can see everyone in one place.
I've called and left a message but will chase them again every day until I get a response, I'll point them to this topic as well.

I am afraid I don't share your laid back attitude in this instance and I don't think asking for a confirmation that £600+ has been received is too much to ask.
On the basis that they have already got someone's gender wrong, have messed up several room arrangements that I am aware of and seem to think chilli con carne does not contain tomatoes, I feel my concerns are not lacking in foundation.
I have to arrange a great deal at work to take time off and I would like to know I am actually booked on the holiday before I start planning for it.
If as you say they do this for a living, they should be better at it. It would be P45 time if I treated a client like this. |

I was merely pointing out that the 'chill out and just turn up' suggestion does not work for everyone.
And believe me, that's not anger. Frustration, disappointment and maybe even sadness, but not anger. |

I completely agree that snowboarding should be a laidback sport and with that ethos in mind, booking a holiday should not be a hassle, a stress and a bit of a nightmare. I shouldn't have to ring them, email them, facebook them, post on here or any other method of communication simply for a confirmation. They are supposed to make it easy and stress-free...
I tried skiing - it didn't work out. |
