Agree with this for sure. I was taught by an Italian who didn't speak any english. Hence no theory, didn't even bother with side slipping, just held both my hands and led me down the nursery slope again and again till I'd got it.

Unless we're confusing terms that's not correct.

The "radius" of the sidecut doesn't work the way you're implying there.

I'll try to video some when I'm next in a snow dome (yes, you can also do them at slow speed).
