Probably and also from MPORA and Vimeo too. Might not launch with it, but it's easy enough.
The main things we want to add to the forum are covered elsewhere, but essentially we want to be able to associated threads with other things on the site - events, slopes and discounts, so that the new hub everybody will have will get them quickly to the things their interested in even when they're less regular visitors to the site. |

Giving instructions is just a tad different to offering free help and suggestions
I'll pay my fee soon, I'm just trying to get all my gear sorted first. Do let me know if you have any problems with that, you can shoot me a PM. |

it was sarcasm fella... note the winks and the smilies
you'll notice that if you look around the forum there's a lot of it....it may be the lowest form of wit.... but it's all some of us have got
My reply was also sarcastic...with less winks |

Whilst I jokingly brought vB4 up earlier, the CMS suite would do all that for you and more out of the box without the need for any custom coding/farting around with Drupal. Plus there are already thousands of pre written plugins available. So come update time there's very little work involved and a much lessened risk of security exploits. It costs £180 for the initial purchase mind, but TBH I doubt SCUK would struggle to pay it, and is the number one choice for nearly all major community sites.
It's also Tapatalk compatible, so two birds with one stone .
Anyway, I'll shut up now. |
