nearly posted about this a couple days back when it was being teased about but was waiting for vids... what was shown in ur post wasn't really SSX to me... it's looking more like Stoked meets CoD's winter levels.
SSX is like Mario Karts - it's fun, mental and feel good. Neon signs, red triangles all over the corners and jumps with explosions shooting out everywhere... too realistic and it's not fun - look at Stoked. |

| SSX3 was my favourite XBOX game as it was just stoopid cheesy fun. This looks like COD. I think they've missed the mark. As long as it has decent multi-player, which SSX: Tricky didn't, then I may let them off. |

| Looks like it is gonna be a very different game, but hard to tell from just a few seconds of trailer. Yeah good multiplayer will forgive much, it's just nice to see a boarding game the has clearly had a lot of work put into it, rather than a quick slap together to make a quick buck. |

| The early SSX games, tricky expecially, was ace. It went a bit downhill after there, although still fun. Be good to see one for the 360, but I'm not holding my breath. |

| err, it kinda reminds me of the cod missions in the snow, this just looks too dark would like to see a game that is more like an ssx tricky but imporoved and generaly better. To be honest this dosen't really look that good, some of my fav memories are of me and my cousins playing ssx tricky although it wasn't that long ago but still lol |

Pre-Rendered Video? Yeah, I wouldn't take too much from it. It's there to look flash, attract attention at trade shows, and generally work as a PR Job. If it looks like Call of Duty, that's because the major market of a game like this (i.e. Consoles) is at the moment going through a glut of games that look like that.
A dark, brown, mud wash over the lot of them. Thus making a video that grabs the target audiance when they first see it, while not actually showcasing anything of the game itself.
I trust these types of videos as much as I trust Bankers. That's not to say the game will be good, or bad. It's simply that I refuse to pay attention until they start putting out actual information. |

sounds like the Skate ppl are making it with similar Skate controls (right stick for tricks) - pft... my interest dropping..

this looks rubbish, SSX was all about what makes snowboarding great, FUN!
SSX dangerous Descents or waht ever it's called looks way too serious! I'll probably purchase it though lol |
