Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but Ride Snowboards have this thing on their website called "Search and Win" which does as it suggests. You search using the Ride website and accumulate points and the more you have the more stuff you can acquire with. Thought I would inform others to this. It’s being done through the Ride website so looks legit.

I've tried this with a couple of other companies who do the scheme, it's not really worth it though, imo because it takes forever to amass points for anything and the search functionality is seriously poor/annoying.
For the average search - it's fine. But anything more detailed you end up reverting back to google anyway. Sometimes I ended up searching both, just so I could potentially win points.
Not as easy as it sounds, though nice idea. |

I sent them an email and this is the response they gave me to the stuff only for US residents:
Thank you for contacting Search + Win customer support.
Unfortunately due to the extremely high cost of shipping the large heavy Rewards we are unable to offer them to the UK and Canada. Coming up soon we will be offering Gift Cards that will allow you to purchase any Reward you want and have it shipped to your country.
Every Search is a Chance to Win!

Why is it that all the ‘top notch’ prizes up for grabs are for U.S. Residents only? It is pointless for some one out side of the U.S. to even bother trying if all they are going to get is a t-shirt or a cap. For all those in the UK who can’t afford to buy a brand new quality snowboard and see this and think “hey good idea I know plenty of ways to promote this to get loads of points and get me a snowboard” just to be blown out and to then think “what’s the use.”
Is it going to be open to those outside the U.S. anytime soon? Even if postage has to be paid it’s still a darn side cheaper then buying brand new.
Kind Regards

I linked to this a few weeks ago.
I hadn't noticed the better stuff was US only (have they just changed it?), ah well. I seem to be doing alright though I have over 140 points already. |

Just browsing the Ride website and noticed this was back, and with seemingly boards on offer for UK people.
If anyone wants to register and be kind to me simultaneously they can use my referral link
Or this is the link without the referral |

Yep, me.
Took ages to collect the points though, and only cause I had so many referrals from putting the link on here. To be fair the Ride search is rubbish, but I'd always use it first to 'maybe' get some points, then go and use good old google. |
