The trick I use most years is to take all my outerwear (and sometimes boots) out of my bag and leave it with my mates well away from the checking desk. After checking in, I go back to them on the way to outsized baggage, stick my stuff back in and wait for them to checkin and do the same Smile

Your bag never gets weighed at outsized baggage Wink

That's quite cunning.

Your bag does get weighed at outsize baggage though.
The scale is usually at the start of the conveyor, whether it has a display that you can see or not.

Like I said before though, Airport staff aren't going to care that you are over Easyjet's weight limit. However, if you put your bag down, or one of the baggage handlers takes it from you and it actually weighs 50kg, when the maximum is 32kg, I can see how they might potentially do something about it as it's far more than they are legally allowed to lift.

Yeah, that goes wihtout saying. It has to be below 32kgs. I'm usually only talking about a few kilos extra.

The stuff about taking stuff out, I have been advised of before good idea hehe.

However when they weigh your boardbag you can usually take some of the weight yourself so the scales don't take as heavy a reading as they don't balance well on the scales so you have to hold it to keep it upright to be tagged. This is my preferred method and has not failed me yet!!!
