Hey Guys,

I posted on here earlier in the year about a new snowboard shop I was setting up in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Cheers to everyone who took the time to fill in the questionnaires.

I am happy to let you all know that it is definitely going ahead and will hopefully be opening by the end of September.

The shop address is 8 Monk Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 5XD and is located right behind The Gate and Tiger Tiger.

The online shop will be launching around the same time at www.cabfive.co.uk

If anyone wants any more info then just send me a message or reply to this thread and I will do my best to get back to you quickly.

Hopefully see some of you soon!

Cheers.
James - Cab Five.

Good stuff!

Who let you know about the shop out of interest?

Be sure to keep checking the website around opening time to see what products we are stocking.

Stuff will be coming in all through September and early October.

Cheers.

Ah! I remember filling in that survey!

Nice one mate. Good location too... I think there are a few skate/bmx stylee shops round there if I remember rightly. Hopefully you already have the right sort of people walking past your doors!

I'll give it a look next time I'm back up North.

Looking forward to seeing your name here too! Wink

Just to keep you all updated, it looks like the shop will be opening on the 17th of September.

There is a possibility the date could change and I will let you know if this happens, but providing enough stock is in by then I can't see there being any problems.

Cheers.

Looks like we are going to have to move the opening back to Friday 24th Sept.
A few of our deliveries should be coming in that week and we want to open with a decent amount of stock.

We will be getting stuff in until mid-October but we should have a good selection by the 24th.

Sorry about all the changes! Hopefully this date will not change now.

Cheers.

Board-wise we are getting in Rome, Forum, Capita, StepChild, Endeavor and APO with the possibility of getting Lib Tech and GNU.

The main two brands for bindings are Union and Flux with a few models from Rome and Forum.

We are getting a really nice range of boots from Deeluxe and again we will have a few from some of our other brands.

Outerwear will mainly be Eleven, Special Blend and Foursquare with a few items from some hardware brands too.
We are getting street wear from Volcom along with bits from most of the brands we are stocking.

Oh and we are getting Dragon and Electric goggles and some awesome thermals from amel!

If you want any more info, just ask Smile

Cheers.
