| Return journey is valid for two months.... so you might need to factor that in if you are going for a season. |

I've done both.
But my last flight to Grenoble didn't land due to bad weather and easyJet diverted us to Lyon. They left us ALL DAY at Lyon airport with no announcements or updates. Eventually they took us on a coach to Grenoble (airlines are required by law to get you to the destination in the event of a diversion) but it was 8 hours after our transfer had left and all the scheduled buses had stopped for the night. We ended up with a very expensive taxi bill...
Geneva airport is much bigger and therefore less likely to shut in the event of bad weather.
If I go via Grenoble again, I'm either only doing it during "better weather months" or with a decent airline. I'm sure it only happens a handful of times a season but I don't want to go through that again. |
