I had a 3 hour lesson with Baden Knifton of Onyx Snowboarding School on Saturday at Hemel Snow Centre. What an awesome experience, this guy can teach! Has anyone had the pleasure of being taught or rode with this guy? Have any of you tried the snow camps or freestyle camps Onyx Snowboarding School run? Thoughts please........

Highly jealous! Yes I have, and I wholeheartedly agree Very Happy

Sadly I've got a friends wedding the day of the next day camp otherwise I'd be going, hoping to get down to Hemel for the 2 day camp later in the year. Hemel is a bit of a mission for me so I can only afford to do it as a special treat from time to time Sad

I did the Aug freestyle day as well, really good fun, great coaching from Baden and Adam and had some good laughs with some like minded peeps!

Would recommend to anyone who is thinking of attending one of their courses.

Definitely! If anyone is thinking of taking a bit of extra coaching to get you to the next level, or even if you have never strapped into a board before and want to get started, I could not recommend these guys highly enough!!!! Very Happy

I'm not one for sycophancy, but I had a four hour session with Baden the Friday night before Clara which I shared with a mate. Baden made us both feel very comfortable, got to know what we could do and what we wanted to do and then set to getting us to do it. He was a real confidence booster and while, okay it took most of the weekend to recover, we had a stellar time and both learned loads which we've been able to carry on practicing this week. We were given constant feedback throughout the evening and then spent about half an hour reviewing video footage, which was also really useful. I'm sure we'll be back for more! Cool
