ahh yeah basich is propper loopy isnt he, it was him did that drop out of a heli wasnt it?
or myles burgett. that guy seemed to spend half of his life being followed buy a huge thundering avalanche. hes probably dead now. did shin campos die at the same time as craig kelly? and tommy brunner? that was a dark day for snowboarding right there if thats the case. |

| What about Muller, and even Trice. Both amazing at taking freestyle into the backcountry. Mullers part in The B is just amazing...! |

| Xavier De La Rue is pretty balls out, he just goes ridiculously fast. I'm not sure about his style though. |

| Depends what u mean by best really... like some of hte other guys mentioned - i enjoy watching Nico Muller and TRice the most as their all out style is a different class - they are however too clever to really risk the balls out lines u will see some of the other guys pulling - Jones is class that way too - so its all subjective really |

| Got to be Jeremy Jones for me as the stuff he ride is the steep of the steep and Mike Basich, but when its comes to freestyle in the back country then people like Rice, Muller etc |

It never used to be something he was associated with, but I think Terje Haakonsen (The God of snowboarding for those under 25 who haven't heard of him!) is pretty steezey - case in point the front cover of the notice to appear dvd - crazy line, massive styley palm air / method / whatever over a waterfall!
Nico Muller is rad in the backcountry, but all his video parts are beginning to look the same - Mctwist japan or whatever it is, and his nosepress spinny butter trick he always does!
Johann Olafsson is awesome as well - his board from the late 90s with the swallow tail design on the bottom was my target board for a while! Never got it tho Some of his first descents in the TB films (Especially TB5 I think) were amazing! |
